I purchased my ticket prior to knowing about surgery, even though I had just had dental surgery. The show was disappointing, with transitions that didn't flow smoothly and a horrible Anthony Anderson skit. The videos of other stars shown in between acts were amateur and corny. Despite the cold and rainy weather, I still came out to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I could've stayed home to watch BET for that. I was looking forward to seeing Patti, but she seemed very reserved. Autographs after the show with Trans-Siberian Orchestra seemed burdensome. The highlight was all of the artists singing their hit songs, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra performing his new song "Jesus." Praying that whatever was on his mind will be released from him to make him the loving, caring Trans-Siberian Orchestra that I know he is. This was my first time seeing Patti. I hope his next show in DC will be better, or I'll stick to the CDs, or catch him when I'm back at home in the D (he's always friendlier with his home crowd).
